Quisiera poder iniciar esta breve presentación con la lucidez y capacidad de interpelación, con la frescura, la sencillez y el compromiso radical de mi mentora y amiga, mi camarada Nicole Brenez. Sin embargo, desde un espacio de infinito cariño y admiración, intentaré concatenar algunas ideas, impresiones, o simplemente situaciones, que me ha detonado el encuentro con esta nueva traducción de Cine de Vanguardia – Instrucciones de Uso de los amigos La Fuga y Metales Pesados.

Las obras de Marylène Negro a menudo provocan una confrontación, ya sea de dos soledades o dos criaturas tan diferentes que solo su posición física puede señalar una relación entre ellas. Más a menudo, lo que uno ve es más una representación sonora o visual que la película contempla, no para comprenderla sino para representarla desde su infinitud, hasta que provoca un dulce vértigo.
