El imaginario transexual y tránsgenero desde dentro. En Naomi Campbel, ya Camila José Donoso había explorado el tema del transexualismo, pero desde la docuficción y el drama, de la mano de un personaje real, Yermén, tarotista que quería ganar un concurso de televisión para obtener una cirugía que la asemeje a la famosa modelo. En cambio, en Casa Roshell, la cineasta chilena apuesta totalmente por la ficción, para explorar el interior de un club nocturno de transformismo en Ciudad de México.
